Bungie has confirmed that Halo: Reach is complete, and that all that stands between you and your retail copy of the game is certification and distribution.
The news comes via Joseph Tung, Halo: Reach’s executive producer, who at this very moment is in New Zealand speaking with the media. In fact, we just spoke with him. Stay tuned for our preview of the singleplayer campaign, and our hands on impression with multiplayer modes new and old. We’ll also be sharing an interview with Joseph in the next episode of Telefrag.
On his blog, Tung writes, “Assuming things go well in certification, that means the only things standing between you all and Reach are the manufacturing process and shipping the discs to stores,” he said.
“It’s been a long haul getting the game to this point but the team is incredibly proud of the game and can’t wait to play with everyone on September 14th.”
