Activision has outlined the functions of its all-new Call of Duty mobile app.

According to the company, the app was built with four things in mind: companion features, clan support, second screen functionality, and Clan Wars.

As always, the app will keep a track of player stats, but for the first time will allow access to stats from previous games.

It features all of Ghosts’ create-a-soldier options, and an interface for clan customisation and communication.

The app’s second screen functions include the ability to make changes to soldiers’ loadouts in pre-match lobbies, and it also offers extended post-match information about players.

It is also the only place to participate in Clan Wars, a Ghosts meta-game where clans compete against each other for territory and to earn bonus multiplayer experience points and exclusive in-game items.

The Call of Duty: Ghosts mobile app is available now for iOS and Android devices.
