The multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto V will feature approximately 500 missions that will be rotated continuously, says Rockstar.
Speaking with Spanish language site 3DJuegos, Rockstar’s Leslie Benzies said players will discover new missions as they explore the map, talk to non-player characters, or check their in-game mobile phone.
Players will also be able to access missions via more traditional menus, said Benzies.
Rockstar revealed Grand Theft Auto Online late last week. According to Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto Online is a dynamic and persistent online world for 16 players that will initially share gameplay features, geography, and mechanics with Grand Theft Auto V, and it will later expand thanks to new content created by Rockstar and the game’s community.
Players will have the freedom to explore alone or with friends, work cooperatively to complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes with the entire community.
The online multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto V will be available to download on October 1, two weeks after the main game drops.
