Borderlands 2 is coming to the PS Vita next month, Sony has announced.
The Vita port is being handled by Iron Galaxy Studios, and will ship with six add-on packs built-in: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, the Psycho and Mechromancer Character Classes, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1, and the Collector’s Edition pack.
It supports Cross Save, so those who have played the game on PlayStation 3 can pick up where they left off using their Vita.
“We’re committed to porting over the heart and soul of the console original without compromising the gameplay you know and love,” said Sony director of third party productions Gio Corsi.
A limited edition Borderlands 2 Vita Bundle featuring the new slimmer, lighter PS Vita Wi-Fi model will be available in the US from May 6, but there hasn’t yet been word on a local release.
