Imagine a world in which history is slightly different. . . a history in which World War II had never happened and a present where the Soviets are battling Allied troops for control of Europe. Then imagine being on the field of battle whilst all that is kicking off. . .

Building on the excellent C&C series, Westwood Studios' Command & Conquer Red Alert: Retaliation combines the Counterstrike and The Aftermath mission discs into a single, two-disc game, meaning that you can get great two-player linkup gameplay. With 34 new solo (as well as the secret Giant Ant missions), Retaliation represents a major addition to the C&C series. . . one with some notable additions.

Memory Card compatibility means you can save the game in the middle of your mission, allowing you to re-play those about-to-perish moments over and over again! And, because the game is split over two discs (with the Allies on one disc and the Soviets on the other), in two player mode via a link cable the two sides can meet in a head-to-head confrontation with, well, your best friend.

Retaliation also features 100 new multi-player maps, new weapons such as the time-warping ChronoTank (capable of materialising all over the battlefield) and the M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction) Tank (able to generate devastating shockwaves over a wide radius). Counterstrike missions feature 3 new units for one player, and The Aftermath missions feature 7 more new units for both one and two-player modes.

Command & Conquer Red Alert: Retaliation - your chance to change history. . .
