At this year's E3, CD Projekt Red showed a behind closed doors demo featuring new gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077.
Fans at the show and those watching from home were treated to an impressive new trailer but weren't lucky enough to see the new gameplay.
Thankfully, we won't have to wait too long as a recent string of tweets confirmed that the E3 demo would be made public during PAX West, which takes place from August 29 to September 2.
The news was confirmed by CDPR's global community manager when responding to a tweet stating that the demo won't be made public until after Gamescom.
This marketing rollout mirrors what the developer did last year and allows for them to get much more screen time out of a single demo. These demos typically take a lot of extra work internally, so CDPR is playing it smart by making sure the majority of the development team is free to get the game ready for its newly announced release date of April 16 next year.
