The third and final chapter for Marvel's Spider-Man now has a title and release date.

Silver Lining will release next week on December 21, and will close up the game's City that Never Sleeps DLC.

As described by The PlayStation Blog:

Silver Sable has stormed back to reclaim her stolen Sable International tech. With New York Police Chief Yuri Watanabe on administrative leave following her exploits against Hammerhead, Spider-Man will have to rely on unlikely allies to keep Marvel’s New York safe.

As with previous chapters, Silver Lining will offer new missions, new and upgraded enemy types, challenges, and trophies.

The DLC will upgrade Hammerhead bases, while also offering three new suits for Spider-Man to collect.

This time around, Insomniac has partnered with Sony Pictures to incorporate the upcoming Into the Spider-verse suit into the game. In addition to this, players can unlock Cyborg Spider-Man and the Aaron Aikman Spider-Armor.

Spider-Man's third DLC offering drops next week

Marvel's Spider-Man released in September to rave reviews. In Dan's Gameplanet review he scored it 9/10, while enjoying its DLC offerings as well.
