Season One of Hitman will finally reach retailers at the end of January 2017, as it culminates its episodic digital release.

Developer Io Interactive confirmed today that Hitman: The Complete Season One will release in a steelbook edition on January 31.

It will include the previously released episodes, set in France, Italy, Morocco, and Thailand, as well as those set in USA and Japan that are yet to be released.

"The disc combines everything we have learned, refined and updated over the course of a 10 month live season," said Io Interactive head Hannes Seifert. "It's the direct result of live input, development and feedback from our players."

The steelbook edition will contain three bonus missions, including the previously released The Icon and A House Built on Sand missions and the upcoming Landslide mission.

Purchasers will also receive the Hitman Requiem Blood Money pack which includes the signature Blood Money white suit, white rubber duck, and chrome ICA pistol.

Furthermore, the original soundtrack will be included, as well as a documentary that tracks the game's progress from its reveal before E3 2015, through to its digital launch in 2016.

The PlayStation 4 version will additionally include the six platform-exclusive Sarajevo Six missions.

Io Interactive has voiced its plans to create two further seasons of Hitman content, although a second season is yet to be given the go-ahead.

Hitman: The Complete First Season will release to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on January 31. It is available for pre-order at Mighty Ape.
