Future Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC won’t be available on last-gen consoles, BioWare has revealed.

As such, the company has created a Save Importer tool so those playing on PlayStation 3 can move their save files to PlayStation 4, and those on Xbox 360 can move to Xbox One.

Exports and imports to or from PC are not supported.

Previously-released DLC packs including Jaws of Hakkon and Spoils of the Avvar will be free on new-gen to those who bought them on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3. Promotional items will also carry over.

It isn’t known how much more DLC will be offered for Inquisition, although BioWare said last month that more story content was on the way.

The Save Importer tool will launch as part of the game's July update (Patch 8).
