It will cost just NZ$10 to upgrade from a PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty: Ghosts to a next-gen copy, Activision has announced.
The upgrade special will run for a limited time after the PlayStation 4's launch.
A similar deal will be available in the US for upgrades between Xbox 360 and Xbox One, where it will be done through Amazon and GameStop.
Yesterday Sony announced that a number of PlayStation 4 games would be offered at “a significantly discounted price” for those who owned them on PlayStation 3.
Along with Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and Battlefield 4 are confirmed for the program.
"We have also previously announced that for a limited time our players will bring all of their Season Pass Content and all of their in-game progress with them within a console family, for no additional charge," added Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg.
