DICE have delayed the PC beta of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 until "very early" in 2010. On the plus side, Gordon Van Dyke has promised PC players that they’ll be receiving an improved build of the game.

"With the huge success of the PS3 beta we decided to drastically increase the PC beta's capacity to insure as many people as possible could participate. Unfortunately this meant we had to delay the beta to very early next year giving us more planning time to make it happen and implement more optimisations," says Van Dyke.

PC servers will host 32 players rather than 24, will support DirectX10 and 11, peripherals like joysticks, clan support and private servers, “plus a variety of specific features tailored for PC play”.
