The maker of League of Legends has announced its next title, and it won't be coming to PC or console, but tabletop instead.
Mechs vs. Minions is a co-operative board game set in the world of LoL. As one of the Yordles Heimerdinger, Tristana, Corki, or Ziggs, players must work together to help Rumble defeat a number of minions that threaten to overrun his mech school.
Using programmatic movement from a shared draft, teammates will grow in power as they face off against armies of marauding minions.
Up to four players must complete missions to progress through a story-driven campaign.
Missions are estimated to take between 60–90 minutes, with a total of 10 making up the campaign.
Mechs vs. Minions will be available from October 13 exclusively at the Riot Games merch store. The game will cost US$75 plus shipping.
