Cities: Skylines is about to get more chaotic with a newly-announced expansion pack.
The Natural Disasters expansion features new challenges, alongside a catalogue of catastrophes waiting to devastate a player's city.
As the city's mayor, players must prepare for the worst with early-warning systems and emergency routes. Should the worst occur, they will then need to care for their populace as they rebuild.
Natural Disasters will also update Cities with a new scenario editor and gameplay mode, allowing players to finally win (or lose) the game on their own terms.
A new Scenario Mode will also allow players to design and share custom challenges through the Steam Workshop.
Disasters can occur unexpectedly during the game, or be triggered by those seeking an added challenge... you heartless bastards.
Buildings and infrastructure will be destroyed, fires will spread across locations, and countless lives will be lost unless players can implement the right emergency plans and responses.
The Natural Disasters expansion pack will be available for Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs this summer.
