The PC version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be delayed to match its console brethren, says Warhorse Studios.

Originally set for a mid-year release, the PC version is now due in "2016."

Deliverance is a historical first-person RPG with a number of innovative features aimed at realism.

The game depicts the real Central Europe in the 1400s, and features CryEngine-driven graphics, "accurate melee," and a complete lack of magical elements.

Its Kickstarter backers received a beta slice of the game last week, which has been met with praise for its ambition and concern over its incomplete state.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is "still planned" for release this year on new-gen consoles and PC.
