WBIE has offered refunds for Batman: Arkham Knight players after its recent PC relaunch has left many still reporting technical issues.

The relaunch came months after the game was taken off shelves due to catastrophic performance and graphical problems.

Developer Rocksteady spent those months reworking the PC port, but the relaunched version has still been reported as faulty in a number of ways.

Issues like stuttering, freezing, and frame-rate drops still persist, though lessened somewhat, while some players cannot even get the game to start.

Meanwhile, WB says players on Windows 10 need 12GB of RAM to play the game smoothly, despite the recommended specs saying 8GB; Windows 7 players suffer paging issues fixed only by relaunching the game; and SLI and Crossfire are not supported.

Refunds are available for all PC owners of the game, even if they don't meet Steam's requirements for refunds.

"We are very sorry that many of our customers continue to be unhappy with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight," said WB. "We worked hard to get the game to live up to the standard you deserve but understand that many of you are still experiencing issues."

"Until the end of 2015, we will be offering a full refund on Batman: Arkham Knight PC, regardless of how long you have played the product."

Batman: Arkham Knight is also available on new-gen consoles, where it runs smoothly and has earned generally positive reviews.
