A patch that allegedly fixes many of the problems with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC is now available.

However, the game is not yet back on digital shelves.

According to publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the patch reduces frame rate hitches, optimises system memory and VRAM usage, and improves performance on all GPUs.

It also adds more in game settings, and squishes some low resolution texture bugs.

An upcoming patch will add support for SLI and Crossfire, the latest DLC content, Photo Mode, and more.

It will also address some bugs that only appear on certain Windows 7 and Windows 10 setups.

“As always, we will monitor for any additional issues that come up and will provide further optimisations and bug fixes along the way,” said Rocksteady.

“We would like to thank everyone for their patience and invaluable feedback. We’ll provide ongoing updates here as they are made available. In the meantime, please enjoy the game with the latest patch.”

Arkham Knight came out in June for new-gen consoles and PC, with the PC version quickly being pulled from shelves due to crippling performance issues.
