A Director's Cut of Wasteland 2 will hit consoles and PC this October.

The updated version of the game features improved graphics, new perks, redesigned combat encounters, a new UI, and additional voice acting.

More importantly, it will run on PS4 and Xbox One with full controller support.

PC owners of the game will receive an upgrade to the Director's Cut for free.

Gameplanet's Ben Allan rated the original version of Wasteland 2 an 8.0/10, citing its "Gigantic, well-built and evocative game world, excellent voice acting, and solid turn-based combat system," and moral choices with "both emotional and story consequences."

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut releases on October 13, leaving post-apocalypse fans only a few weeks to finish it before Fallout 4 dominates the horizon.
