inXile's post-apocalyptic isometric RPG Wasteland 2 will come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this winter with "tons of enhancements and improvements".
Called "The Game of the Year Edition", Wasteland 2 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been ported to the Unity 5 engine.
This has allowed inXile to "overhaul the game with some new visual effects, improved character models, upgraded environments, and Unity 5′s physically based shading to get more realistic lighting and shadowing," it said.
The new-gen edition will also offer some new Perks and Quirks (traits) that allow for more customised squads. A new Precision Strike system will let players target individual body parts in order to cripple or stun enemies, or to shatter their armour.
Wasteland 2 for PC was an early Kickstarter success. It came out last year and reviewed well.
