More than 27 million fans watched the League of Legends World Championship Finals, according to Riot Games.
Viewership was down 15 percent on 2013, when 32 million watched the Finals, but the average viewing time was up significantly. Fans watched an average of 67 minutes online compared to the 42 minutes average last year.
Across all stages, at total of 288 million cumulative daily unique impressions were recorded. Altogether, worldwide fans watched 179 million hours live online.
Concurrent viewers peaked at 11.2 million, during the match between Samsung White and Royal Club. That means concurrent viewership is up 8.7 million year-over-year.
