Here are some of our favourites:
◆ In Michael Jackson: The Experience on DS, vuvuzelas play over the game music
◆ In Game Dev Tycoon, the player’s games don’t sell because everyone pirates them
◆ In Mass Effect, the galaxy map doesn’t work
◆ In Serious Sam 3, an invincible scorpion chases the player
◆ In Comand & Conquer: Red Alert 2, the player’s base and units spontaneously explode 30 seconds into a match
◆ In Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis the player’s ability to aim gradually gets worse and the screen blurs like you are fatigued
◆ Earthbound completely resets and the player’s save is deleted… right near the end of the game
◆ In Batman: Arkham Asylum, the game’s glide feature malfunctions, preventing the player from crossing a gap to continue the game. Mirror’s Edge had a similar feature with an early jump the player had to make.
◆ It’s impossible to accrue experience in Pokémon Black/White
◆ In The Sims 4, this happens:
