Batman: Arkham Knight is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on June 2 2015, Rocksteady has announced.
Earlier this year, Xbox let slip that the game was coming on February 24. This obviously is no longer accurate.
The game is in development at Rocksteady, and has been described as the "explosive finale in the Batman: Arkham series". Scarecrow has returned to unite Gotham's vilest villains. Other evil-doers in the game include Harley Quinn, Two-Face, and Penguin. More will be announced in the future.
The game features an entirely new part of Gotham City, which will be much larger than area depicted in Arkham City. The streets will also be wider in order to accommodate the Batmobile.
Two collector's editions will be available: the Limited Edition and Batmobile Edition.
The Limited Edition includes an 80 page concept art book, a SteelBook case, a limited edition copy of DC Comics’ Batman: Arkham Knight #0, and a Batman memorial statue. It also gives the buyer access to an exclusive character skin pack, which includes three unique skins from DC Comics' The New 52.
The Batmobile Edition includes all of the above, except it replaces the Batman memorial statue with a fully transformable Batmobile model.
