Riot Games is anticipating a record crowd for the League of Legends World Championship Final in South Korea next month.
Riot EVP of eSports Dustin Beck said that the company expects to sell out the 45,000 available seats for the event in Sangam Stadium, Seoul.
“Our early ticket sales have all sold out,” Beck told Polygon. “We’re trying to create more capacity and flexibility, but so far so good.”
Last year's event was held in the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. It was attended by 12,000 fans. Total viewers topped 32 million, and peaked at 12 million concurrent viewers.
The World Championship Final takes place on October 19.
