On the back of news yesterday that Grand Theft Auto V for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One was still on track for release later this year, two sources have now pegged the game for release in November.

A VG247 YouTube partner, HalcyonDeathSquad, has said it was told by a source close to the game's development that it would release in November. In addition, an employee of UK high street retailer GAME tweeted that Grand Theft Auto V for PC and new-gen would release on November 2. The tweet has since been removed, claimed the YouTuber.

Next, a NeoGAF user browsing the website of Rockstar's UK distributor, Gem Distribution, found that the game's release date had been changed from TBC to November. The date has since been returned to TBC, but not before sites including Videogamer were able to screengrab it.

The new-gen and PC editions of Grand Theft Auto V will offer "enhancements and new details", including technical advancements such as "increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic and enhanced resolutions".

Players of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be able to transfer their saved characters and progress in Grand Theft Auto Online to the PC, PS4 or Xbox One version (as that data is saved in the cloud using Rockstar Social Club).
