Dragon Age: Inquisition features a four-player co-op multiplayer mode, BioWare has announced.

Three multiplayer campaigns will be available at launch, and each features levels randomly generated from a series of templates. The player will choose one of nine customisable heroes to play.

Naturally, Inquisition’s tactical camera can’t be used.

BioWare’s Scylla Costa told IGN that new heroes and levels would come to the co-op mode after release in the form of free DLC.

There will be microtransactions, although Costa said nothing is behind a paywall.

“We will never sell you an item,” he said.

Dragon Age: Inquisitionis coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC on November 21.
