For reasons unknown, Batman: Arkham Origins will arrive a fortnight late on Wii U.

That's a double blow for Wii U owners, who learned in July that the Wii U version of Arkham Origins won’t contain a multiplayer mode.

The delay will not apply to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PC versions of the game.

In addition, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate will be delayed on the 3DS, but not the PS Vita.

Batman: Arkham Origins launches for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC on October 25, and Wii U on November 7.

Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate launches on October 25 for PS Vita, and November 7 for 3DS.
