Every Steam account now has access to the Dota 2 Spectator Client, Valve has announced.

Steam users may now watch any live or recent match from right inside the client.

All spectator features are enabled, including player perspective, commentators, and directed view.

The announcement comes just in time for Valve’s global Dota 2 championships, dubbed The International, that takes place from August 31 to September 2 in Seattle.

“With The International around the corner we want everyone to have access to the best possible way of watching the matches, and that’s where the new Spectator Client comes in,” said Valve.
