Crytek’s free-to-play online triple-A shooter Warface is getting a western release.
Previously only available in Russia, the game will soon be playable in North America, Europe, Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand, via Crytek’s gaming platform Gface.
Warface will be co-published in the west by Trion Worlds and Crytek.
"Trion is the company spearheading a revolution in gaming through delivering premium online games across big genres powered by a proven, cutting edge platform," said Crytek founder Cevat Yerli.
Earlier this year, Yerli announced that his company was switching exclusively to free-to-play games following the release of Crysis 3.
Warface currently boasts around two million registered users in Russia, and recently won Best Game and Best Graphics at the Russian KRI Awards after breaking player concurrency records within four weeks of its launch.
A western release date is yet to be announced.
