The Formula T2 driving controls feature a steering console with steering wheel, shifter, two dash buttons, and a floor unit. The console features a dual clamping mechanism for easy, secure attachment to almost any desktop. The redesigned steering wheel is still 10 inches in diameter, but now features a 1-inch thick foam rubber grip for greater comfort and control with less fatigue. Tensioned mechanics provide increased resistance the further the wheel is turned. Total steering range is 260 degrees.
The gear change lever operates as a sequential shifter. Each time the lever is pushed forward it moves up through the gears; press back to down shift.
The two dash buttons can function as reverse or any other needed function if supported in the software simulation.
The gas and brake unit for the Formula T2 is mounted on a sturdy metal base floor unit for greater control and less foot slippage. Its predecessor used only roller wheels instead of actual pedals.
