Nintendo have just announced a profit warning for Q4 2009 (ending March 31) in which they claim one million fewer Wii consoles will be sold than predicted.

Having sold 96.22 million DS units and 44.96 million Wii units, come March 31st Nintendo predict a net income of US$25.6 billion, down 33% from the US$38.3 billion predicted.

Worrying indeed, and a sign of perhaps a more serious downturn likely in the months ahead? Thanks TG Daily.
