SCEE president David Reeves has told Eurogamer in an interview that PlayTV will be available in New Zealand from January or February 2009.
Reeves told Eurogamer "We've got Australia and New Zealand also lined up for it in January or February, because on their digital terrestrial they haven't actually set the standards yet."
Reeves also confirmed that PlayTV users will be able to play games and record TV at the same time.
Meanwhile, Microsoft have taken another jab at Sony, with Euro executive David Gosen claiming that we shouldn't get too excited about PS Home;
"What Sony does with Home is up to them, and my advice is that we shouldn't hold our breath, because that could be quite a dangerous thing to do," he stated.
Looks like E3 may have added a bit of fuel to the console fire! More information as it comes to hand.
