Haze, the upcoming first-person shooter video game developed by Free Radical Design which was originally scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2007-08, will now be released in fiscal 2008-09, claims Ubisoft. At the same time, in order to take into account the postponed release date for Haze, Ubisoft has raised its 2008-09 sales target to approximately €1 billion (NZ$2.56bn), compared with the previously-announced forecast of around €975 million (NZ$2.49bn).

Ubisoft have also reported further exceptional showings from Assassin's Creed. In Europe, this was the best-selling game in 2007 for the Playstation 3, and the number 2 best-seller for the Xbox360 system. In the United States, it was the second best-selling game in 2007 for the Playstation 3, and the number 3 best-seller for the Xbox360 system.
