As the countdown continues for the launch of Halo 3, the video game continues to set records and establish new precedents for an entertainment launch.
Preorders in North America have exceeded the 1 million milestone, which Microsoft says is the fastest in history. The Legendary Edition is expected to be sold out by the time the game launches on 25th September.
In typical US promotional fashion, a number of national brands are getting behind the game release. In particular, Mountain Dew will unveil Mountain Dew Game Fuel in connection with the Halo 3 release. "Game Fuel has the same great taste of Mountain Dew with an invigorating blast of citrus cherry flavour and added caffeine for maximum intensity."
