Sony Computer Entertainment New Zealand has announed the PlayStation 3 Starter Pack, soon to be made available through New Zealand retailers.

The Starter Pack will include the 60 GB PS3 console, two wireless controllers, and a copy of Resistance: Fall Of Man and MotorStorm, both million sellers globally and the number one and two top selling PS3 games to date in New Zealand. With a recommended retail price of NZ$1,199.95, this offer will be available in stores from 1st of August 2007.

The Starter Pack follows recent news on the PlayStation 3' sales results. According to market research group GfK, around 9,000 units have been sold in New Zealand since the March 07 launch.

Retailers have been very happy with the numbers to date and are excited about the prospect of this new offer."
