Spain romped to its second consecutive victory in the latest of Konami’s new Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence official online competitions.
Played within Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence’s single-player Death Match mode, Antonio Martinez Zamora emerged victorious after three weeks of competitive matches. During the course of the competition, Zamora topped a league formed of 64 players from 12 countries.
The victorious Spanish contestant seized his title in a charged battle against Spanish team mate Daniel Guerrero Juan, both of whom were part of last month’s winning ‘Philantropy Black Operations’ unit. Third place went to Ricardo Bajrusi from Germany, who triumphed over Italian entrant Emanuele Marra.
To celebrate his win, Zamora received the Premium Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops limited edition pack from the KonamiStyle range, featuring a PSP unit signed by series creator Hideo Kojima. Juan received a special Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops jacket and a selection of Konami games.
