The World Cyber Games has announced a comprehensive partnership with Philips Electronics’ Gaming & Peripherals division. As an 'official global partner' for the next three years, Philips’ exclusive hardware sponsorship designates Philips amBX accessories as the official systems at select WCG global events.

Through the deal, the World Cyber Games will add a new element to their competitions - the WCG Philips amBX Cup Challenge - as well as integrate the amBX peripheral devices into selected gaming stations.

Adding an all-new element to the overall World Cyber Games experience, amBX peripherals will be featured in a variety of ways at WCG events highlighted by the WCG Philips amBX Cup Challenge - a mini winner take all tournament that will take place on stage at the WCG Grand Final, WCG USA Championship, WCG US Open, WCG Pan European Championship, WCG Pan Asian Championship, WCG Pan American Championship and the WCG US Regional Championships.

During the challenge, professional gamers will compete on systems with amBX peripherals, providing sound, light, wind and vibration effects that will enhance gameplay and create an immersive experience for players and spectators alike. The winner of the tournament will receive the Philips amBX Cup.
