Second seed Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel has won the Singapore Painkiller tournament of the million-dollar Cyberathlete Professional League World Tour, taking home US$15,000 and his second tournament win of the season. Top seed Sander "Vo0" Kaasjager came in second place. Australian team Team Progamer came last in their Counter-Strike 1.6 pool with three points and one win from their six matches. Today Progamer signed with the CPL to run an Australian qualifying tournament next year for the CPL Summer 2006 event, the first of its kind in Australia since 2001. The qualifier covers Counter-Strike 1.6 and Quake 4.
