Google's new gaming console now has a release date for those that pre-ordered the Founder's Edition – November 19.

The Founder's Edition includes a three-month subscription to Stadia Pro, a limited edition night blue controller, a Chromecast Ultra, and a three-month Buddy Pass to Stadia Pro for a friend.

Stadia Pro is promised to deliver 4K/60fps with 5.1 surround sound, while the Stadia Base service only offers 1080/60fps.

Whether either of those services will be able to perform in Australasia remains to be seen.

For those that didn't pre-order the Founder's Edition, the Stadia service is expected to roll out in 2020.

Stadia was announced in March this year, and promised to offer a gaming experience streamed to tablets, TVs, laptops and phones – allowing the processing to be done remotely on Google's servers.

Already a number of developers have announced support for the new platform, with titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Destiny 2, Doom Eternal, and Metal Gear confirmed to be coming to Google Stadia.
