Rumours have been circulating for some time that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be coming to PC, but Rockstar Games has now confirmed it.

Red Dead 2 will release for PC on November 5th, and will be a launch title for the Google Stadia when it releases the same month.

Rockstar has stated the PC version will feature "range of graphical and technical enhancements for increased immersion," while also adding new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, and weapons.

Players can also enjoy Red Dead Online on PC at no additional cost – unlike its console counterparts which require Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus subscriptions.

Pre-orders go live on October 9th, and include two bonus games from Rockstar's catalogue.

Those that install the Rockstar Games Launcher before October 8th will also receive a free copy of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Beyond the Rockstar Launcher, Red Dead 2 will be available on stores like Epic Games and Humble. They'll also release on November 5th, however pre-orders will go live later, on October 23.

The game will also release on Steam, although Rockstar has not confirmed a date beyond "this December."

Released on console last year, Red Dead Redemption 2 was met with critical acclaim. Gameplanet's Chris Brown scored it 9.5/10 and praised it for its story-telling and presentation.
