Terminator fans will be getting not one, but two entries in the franchise this year.

While the film Terminator: Dark Fate releases October 31, a new game will be hitting platforms just a few weeks after.

Publisher Reef Entertainment today announced Terminator: Resistance, a first person shooter that offers an original story based on the film rights for The Terminator and T2: Judgement Day.

Set 31 years after Judgement Day, Resistance stars the new character, Jacob Rivers – a resistance soldier who has been marked for termination. Players will work their way up the ranks of the resistance as they fight to turn the tide against SkyNet.

In addition to new enemies, players will face off against the iconic T-800, while wielding plasma rifles and levelling up skills.

The game releases November 15 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, with development being handled by Polish studio Teyon - known for the less-than-stellar 2014 Rambo game.
