A sequel to 2017's Little Nightmares has been announced by Bandai Namco and is set for a 2020 release.

Little Nightmares II will tell the sotry of Mono, a young boy trapped in a world distorted by the humming transmission of a distant signal tower.

He'll be accompanied by Six; our yellow raincoat-wearing hero from the first game, who will serve as an AI companion in the sequel.

The focus of the second game will be the relationship between the two children, with gameplay mechanics that require teamwork in order to progress and solve puzzles.

Players will also explore outside The Maw – the setting of the first game – to new environments and new enemies.

Little Nightmares II will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2020.
