Nightdive Studios is celebrating the 20th anniversary of System Shock 2 by announcing a new Enhanced Edition of the game.

The studio was responsible for the 2013 re-release of System Shock 2, and is currently working on a remake of the original System Shock.

It's currently unclear what new features will be included in the Enhanced Edition, although the studio's previous work included 4K support and improved controls.

System Shock 2 released originally in 1999 as a sequel to the celebrated survival horror title. It's development was headed by Ken Levine, who went on to create the acclaimed Bioshock.
