Following the massively popular reception of Resident Evil in recent years, it would be absurd for Cacpom not to keep riding the undead waves of success.

That being said, we're still yet to hear of what's coming next in the critically acclaimed series. Thanks to an email sent out to Japanese members of the Capcom's Resident Evil Ambassador community, it looks like we're not far off making our way back to Racoon City. The email in question states that Capcom is recruiting Japanese community members to test a new game "in development."

While no further details were offered, it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that this new title in development, will likely be a new Resident Evil. Fans have been vocal about their desire for a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

Its clear Cacpom can do an incredible job remaking it's older titles with the superb Resident Evil 2 Remake. While I'd love to take on the terrifying Nemesis again, part of me wants the developers to continue pushing the prolific zombie series in new directions.

Either way, it looks like we can expect to embark on another zombie-fueled nightmare sooner, rather than later.
