Announced during E3 this year, Capcom's Resident Evil 5 & Resident Evil 6 now have confirmed release dates for the Nintendo Switch.

The two titles are both set to drop on the eShop on October 29 for $30 USD each. Both games will release with all of their respective DLC content including the Mercenaries and Agent Hunt modes.

As a fan of the series, I found Res Evil 6 to be low points for the mainline entries in the series. Considering both games are available much cheaper on other formats (that dreaded Switch tax is killing us), it's a rather tough sell.

Capcom, potentially aware of this fact have also announced a Resident Evil Triple Pack which will include Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6 for the Switch. Resident Evil 4 comes on the cartridge while 5 & 6 are digital codes, so you'll likely need a fair bit of space if you want to install the collection.

Resident Evil 4 is already available on the Switch and is currently on sale in the eShop, so if you're thinking about diving into the RE world on the Switch, it's a great place to start.
