The next State of Play stream has been announced by PlayStation and will air this Friday 10th May at 10am NZT.

Word comes from the PlayStation Blog, which was quick to point out there would be no further details on Sony's next-generation plans.

What has been confirmed is an extended look at the upcoming MediEvil remake, as well as a "first look" at an unannounced title.

It's expected to be a quick show at just 10 minutes of run time, so it's likely we won't be seeing much more than that.

Viewers can tune in on PlayStation's YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Twitch channels next Friday to watch.

Sony's previous State of Play was the company's first, and featured a number of new PSVR titles, including Iron Man VR and Concrete Genie, and also announced VR support for No Man's Sky.
