Square Enix hinted at an upcoming reveal during its third quarter earnings report today.
While noting that Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Just Cause 4 helped boost overall sales when compared to 2018, what was of particular interest was Square Enix's assertion that FY2020 would have record earnings.
The company didn't go into specifics, saying only that announcements are in store in the build-up to E3 2019.
Interestingly, Square Enix also noted it would reduce the time between announcing a title and releasing it – so there's a chance this could also be an entirely new title.
Not included in this quarter, Square Enix will also be enjoying the sales from its recently released Kingdom Hearts III, which has seen a strong reception critically and commercially.
