Bethesda Softworks have updated the Fallout 76 FAQ with the question ""Is the B.E.T.A. going to be the full game and will my progress carry over to launch?"
Bethesda has confirmed that "Our current plan for the B.E.T.A. is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch. We hope you join us!"
This means the Beta will have you downloading the whole game, but with that you'll have the opportunity to spend as much time as possible during the Beta, uncovering everything Fallout 76 has to offer.
It's easy to end up logging a couple of hundred hours ina Fallout game, so the bonus of all progress made in the B.E.T.A being carried over to your game when it releases will mean players can jump in exactly where they left off.
Bethesda is yet to confirm exact dates for the Beta, but has confirmed it will make its way to Xbox One first, sometime in October.
