Update: It has now been confirmed that Darksiders III will indeed be launching on November 27 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Original article follows.

Despite having been delayed to 2019 by THQ Nordic, the eagle eyed folks at TrueAchievements have spotted listings for Darksiders III on the Microsoft Store with a release date of November 27.

It looks like the game will be getting three different digital editions. The first is a Standard Edition which conttains the base game, with a bonus Armor Skin for pre-orders. Next up is the Deluxe Edition, which includes the game and two paid post-release DLCs. Pre-ordering this edition will get you the Armor Skin and 24-hour early access to the game. Last but definitely not least is the Blades & Whip Edition which includes all of the previously-mentioned content, as well as copies of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, both of which will unlock on November 26th.

We're still waiting on word for the physical editions of the game but a few different versions are highly likely. Fingers crossed for an awesome statue.

This news has yet to be confirmed by THQ Nordic so take it with a pinch of salt. We'll update as soon as we have confirmation.

It's certainly interesting if this new release date is true as the end of this year is already stacked with huge games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Spider-Man, Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield V and so many more. I'd personally be nervous about Darksiders III falling by the wayside of gamers during this historically busy time.
