With the dust and excitement of E3 2018 finally starting to settle, game critics from around the world have voted on their top games from the big show.

This year was jam packed with huge announcements and deep-dives into game we already knew about. For a game to be eligible for the awards (barring the Special Commendation category), it had to be playable at E3 for the judges.

It's fascinating to see Resident Evil 2, a remake of a 1998 game winning the coveted Best of Show award, edging out the huge competition of games like The Last of Us 2 & Spider-Man. We clearly still have a place in our hearts for Zombie games, despite the deluge of them in the last few years.
