The Australian procedurally-generated adventure game formerly known as Moonman will launch onto Steam Early Access in June.

Moonman has been retitled MoonQuest to reflect its now-expansive cast of playable characters, which include Moonman, a human, a spaceman, a knight, and a moss-elemental. Each character plays slightly differently and starts with different gear.

The game promises a rich procedurally-generated world to explore, and has mechanics similar to games like Minecraft, Terraria, Starbound, and Crea.

It looked pretty sweet in its Kickstarter pitch three years ago:

An OSX and Linux build will follow the Early Access launch.

MoonQuest had been in development for three years when it was crowdfunded on Kickstarter in 2015.

It is a collaborative effort involving Ben Porter, Alex McDonald, G.P. Lackey, Sam Izzo, Andrew Monte, Gio Lobato, and Aliceffekt.
