PUBG developer Bluehole has revealed its next title, a PC MMO called Ascent: Infinite Realm.
Ascent: Infinite Realm takes place in a high fantasy steampunk world where machines and magic rule and everyone is dependent on flight to explore, travel, and conquer. In search of a new home, adventurers take to the skies using a wide selection of airships, vehicles, and flying mounts to traverse A:IR’s open, highly vertical world.
The game will feature a Realm vs Realm PvP mode, mechs and anti-air artillery, massive aerial battles, and five fully customisable classes, among other things.
According to Bluehole, it fuses classic MMORPG elements with multi-dimensional gameplay encompassing both land and sky.
Ascent: Infinite Realm will hit beta in the first half of next year, and is being published by Black Desert Online publisher Kakao Games.
Bluehole already has 0ne MMO running; TERA, which claims to have "best-in-class action combat mechanics".
